Octavia Dining Chair

Crafted by Oxley’s in collaboration with The National Trust, the Octavia Dining Chair is more than outdoor seating; it’s a piece of living heritage reimagined for the modern garden. Named in homage to Octavia Hill, one of the founding members of The National Trust, the design draws elegantly on a historic floral motif first sketched in an 1872 pen-and-ink drawing of an herbaceous border by celebrated garden designer Gertrude Jekyll. This intricate pattern is artfully translated in cast detail across the chair’s back and seat, creating a visual language that feels both decorative and disciplined — equally at ease among cottage blooms or poised on a manicured terrace.

Handcrafted in the Cotswolds from recycled aluminium, each Octavia Dining Chair embodies a thoughtful blend of longevity and lightness, finished by hand in your choice of colour and paired with sumptuous outdoor cushions. This meticulous construction ensures weatherproof resilience without maintenance, designed to be enjoyed for generations to come. More than a testament to refined craftsmanship, the Octavia Collection channels a narrative of sustainability and stewardship.
