Crafted by Oxley’s in collaboration with The National Trust, the Octavia Pedestal Table redefines outdoor dining with the quiet poetry of heritage-inspired design. A companion to the Octavia Dining Chair and Armchair; it’s a piece of living heritage reimagined for the modern garden and perfect for that morning coffee or sunset glass of wine. Named in homage to Octavia Hill, one of the founding members of The National Trust, the design draws elegantly on a historic floral motif first sketched in an 1872 pen-and-ink drawing of an herbaceous border by celebrated garden designer Gertrude Jekyll. This intricate pattern is artfully translated in cast detail across the chair’s back and seat, creating a visual language that feels both decorative and disciplined – equally at ease among cottage blooms or poised on a manicured terrace.
